From Chicago to San Francisco. A little bit of everything.
A montage of stages of the total solar eclipse of August 2017. Shot just outside the Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Tetons National Park.
Two major highlights of this year for me were the two trips I took to Tetons. One of them was, of course, for photographing the total solar eclipse. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. But apart from those two trips, I did extensive traveling. Both, by myself and for work. That gave plenty of opportunities to photograph landscapes. Here are a few of those pictures. You can see a lot more of them on my Instagram and 500px pages.
I have grouped these pictures by their general locations. And there are three sets. First, a few from California. Then a few from around here in Colorado. And finally a bunch from Wyoming and Montana.
