Photographing Lassen, Crater Lake, and Mt. Hood areas in northern California and Oregon.
Dormant volcanos and other legacy of past volcanic activity is visible all over northern california and the Pacific Northwest. Some of the more scenic national parks in the area have landscapes shaped by volcanoes. This summer, I visited a couple of these places: Lassen National Park, Crater Lake National Park, and the area around Mt. Shasta. These places are breathtaking. Here are some of my favorite shots from these places.
